I need a topic that has "a modern-day connection to the story of Beowulf vs. Grendel using situations, organizations, or events INSTEAD of people vs. people."
Here are some examples of topics (but not the one's I'm comparing to Beowulf):
Law VS Crime
Morality VS Immorality

about the differences between the two, and how they dont mean the same thing, and they have significant recent importance...
like with terrorism, abortion, etc.
